Not only did John build a strong Medical Malpractice case for my wife and I, but he relentlessly followed up and supported us throughout the lawsuit. He was always there for me above and beyond our client/lawyer relationship. John is a talented, honest, and very caring lawyer. I would highly recommend and refer his firm to friends, family and anyone interested in his professional services. He also has a very wonderful, aspiring law clerk who was extremely knowledgeable with the case. She helped throughout the process and was always prepared in court.

John met with me to discuss my DWI charge and he recommended that I attend an alcohol education program. On my trial date, my charges were dropped, and I was able to keep my license. I am extremely pleased with the outcome of my case. In the future, I would definitely use John’s services again, but hopefully I won’t have to! I will continue to recommend him to my friends and family.

My son was arrested on January of 2019 and charged with 3 counts of attempted 1st degree murder, 3 counts of attempted 2nd degree murder, 3 counts of conspiracy to commit 1st degree murder, 3 counts of 1st degree assault, 3 counts 2nd degree assault and various other weapons charges totaling 24 charges. This was his first offense and he basically got mixed up with the wrong crowd and although he did not fire the gun was looking at some very serious charges and the potential of spending a very long time in jail.
I reached out to a lawyer for his bail hearing, whom I will not mention their name. They represented my son at the bail hearing and then once I decided to use them for counsel, they wanted to charge me an outrageous fee. I reached out to John Angelos and he agreed to represent my son for ½ their fee. John Angelos was very courteous and caring. He always kept my son’s best interest at heart. John Angelos was very straight forward and didn’t sugar coat the issues. Whenever I reached out to John usually within 5 minutes, I received a text or phone call – even on weekends. He was never too busy to answer a question and never rushed me off the phone.
After much preparation we went to court in July 2019. After a weeklong trial John filed for an appeal due to circumstance that took place on the last day of the trial that jeopardized my son’s credibility. The DA then opened another case on my son with 6 additional charges. In December of 2019, the appeal was granted, and a mistrial was granted. All but 5 of the 24 charges were dropped. John fought to have both cases combined. He was successful at this and eventually in February 2020 he wore the DA down and we settled on a plea agreement for my son where he pleaded guilty to 2 charges – conspiracy to commit 1st degree assault and possession with intent to distribute – one felony and one misdemeanor. My son was sentenced to 10 years with six suspended for the conspiracy assault charge and 5 years with all suspended for the possession with intent to distribute charge. John was able to get charges dropped from 30 total charges to 2 at sentencing. John was able to convince the judge to revisit his sentencing in a few years and expunge his record if my son stayed out of trouble. In February my son was sent to Eastern Shore Correctional Institute. He had a parole hearing in April and was released the end of May. John Angelos was not only a lawyer for us, but he became a good friend. I have the utmost respect for John Angelos. He worked with me on the fees. He is not greedy like some other lawyers. He is a family man and has very good morals and values. A man you can trust!!!!! I hope to never have to go thru this ordeal again. It was truly a nightmare for my family and I but having John Angelos in our corner was truly a blessing!!!!!

I am so thankful for John’s representation in my dog bite case. I was very discouraged to consult a lawyer about representation because I did not want to seem aggressive toward my neighbor. It was only after a good friend continuously insisted that I contact John. I never could have imagined how helpful his representation could have been. I am truly grateful for all efforts from the Angelos Legal Group. John has become a great asset and part of our family. We will continue to praise and recommend his services.

I was charged with reckless endangerment when my gun accidentally fired during the Rock Hall Fire Department’s Halloween Fest. John tried the case for me in front of a Circuit Court judge. The judge said that, for the first time in 25 years on the bench, he was not able to decide on my case. John and I returned three months later and I was found “not guilty.” I could never thank John enough for his efforts.
