John C.M. Angelos has completed an eight-month long leadership development program that was sponsored by Leadership Maryland. Celebrating its 18th graduating class, Leadership Maryland honored John C.M., an Owings Mills resident and principal attorney of Angelos Legal Group, at a black-tie reception and banquet held on December 7, 2010 at the Renaissance Harborplace Hotel in Baltimore. John CM was among fifty other state-wide classmates to graduate. Leadership Maryland is an independent, educational leadership development organization that works with top-level executives from the public and private sectors. They discuss critical issues, challenges, and opportunities that are being faced in the state of Maryland. The statewide leaders then address these issues with proposed solutions and serve as active participants in a unified effort to change the future of the state. “To be informed about statewide and regional issues, and having the opportunity to engage and interact with leaders who put themselves on the front line every day, has prepared these individuals to be the catalyst for positive change in Maryland,” stated Leadership Maryland Board Chairwoman, Sharon R. Pinder. Ms. Pinder was a 1998 graduate of the program and the president and CEO of The Pinder Group, LLC in Clarksville, Maryland. “These are the leaders to watch, now and in the future, said Leadership Maryland President Nancy Minieri. “Their experience confirms that the quality of leadership affects the success of the solutions. Problems are solved when committed, dynamic leaders with vision and passion are willing to take the risk to lead.”
